A Bright Green Nightstand

So a little while ago I told you about a nightstand makeover using cobalt blue paint that was for sale in my Etsy shop.  It was sold soon after.  The new owner then asked if I would be interested in finding another similar nightstand and painting it bright green.  Well, I thought, you have come to the right place.  I love painting things bright green.  Opie is lucky he is still brown and white.

So I set out to look for another nightstand which was harder than I thought it would be.  As luck would have it, one night I walked into an event in town and a friend tells me out of the blue that she has a nightstand just like the one I just sold.  Perfect!    I asked her if she will sell it and she agrees.  After I check with the buyer that this is what she is looking for,  I set off and start the makeover.  Here it is before (but apparently after I took off the hardware):

After some Safecoat primer, I applied many coats of Safecoat semigloss paint in Field green.  We were experiencing what might be considered  300% humidity at that point and it made the paint take forever to dry.  It took a little longer but we got there.  I then added the hardware to match the hardware on the blue nightstand.

Here is the after:
