As some of you already have heard, TheBoyfriend has asked me to marry him and I said yes. \u00a0We are very excited over here. \u00a0In fact Opie and I jumped up and down around the house \u00a0for a straight 30 minutes after it happened. \u00a0I was out of breath as I called my mom.<\/p>\n

A few notes on the subject:<\/p>\n

1. I have been a bad blogger the last week or so with minimal posting because I have been caught up in all the wonderful planning. \u00a0I promise to get it together and get back to work.<\/p>\n

2. The Boyfriend will stay with this title until he becomes TheHusband. \u00a0I am not a big fan of the word “fiance” as it seems to need to be said in the same voice as the girl from Connecticut that Patrick is going to marry in “Auntie Mame” with Rosalind Russell. \u00a0If you have seen this movie you know exactly what I’m talking about. \u00a0It not go watch, it’s awesome. \u00a0Even TB, who thought it sucked for the first half ended up loving it.<\/p>\n

3. The only real decision we have made about the wedding so far is that we want it to be as green\/eco-friendly\/local\/sustainable as we can. \u00a0I will not inundate you with wedding crap but if I find in my travels something I think could be a cross over eco-friendly idea for your lives I will share.<\/p>\n
