Let me start by apologizing for the long stretch since my last blog post. \u00a0As someone lovingly pointed out (Hi Mom!) I need to get it together and write something down. \u00a0So here we go.<\/p>\n

Today I ask you to feast your eyes on a makeover of a beaten up nightstand. \u00a0I found this poor thing looking dated and scratched and knew there must be something I could do to help. \u00a0We start with the before pic.<\/p>\n

We have all seen something that looks like this one. \u00a0The finish and the hardware are not so fond memories from childhood. \u00a0I wanted to get away from the dated and show that with some paint and new hardware you can achieve a whole new look.<\/p>\n

I sanded, primed, painted and then put a clear coat on for durability. \u00a0Shiny new hardware finished the look. \u00a0I used Safecoat paint and Vermont Natural Coatings’ Polywhey. \u00a0As you know I am a big fan of both.<\/p>\n

Now for the after pic. \u00a0If you like it, you should go to the shop<\/a> and buy it!<\/p>\n

Of course we can’t forget about Opie. \u00a0He’s having a hard time with the crazy mid summer heat in April thing we have going on in NJ. \u00a0Please forgive him for not sitting up and posing.<\/p>\n
