So a little while ago I told you about a nightstand makeover<\/a>\u00a0using cobalt blue paint that was for sale in my Etsy shop. \u00a0It was sold soon after. \u00a0The new owner then asked if I would be interested in finding another similar nightstand and painting it bright green. \u00a0Well, I thought, you have come to the right place. \u00a0I love painting things bright green. \u00a0Opie is lucky he is still brown and white.<\/p>\n

So I set out to look for another nightstand which was harder than I thought it would be. \u00a0As luck would have it, one night I walked into an event in town and a friend tells me out of the blue that she has a nightstand just like the one I just sold. \u00a0Perfect! \u00a0 \u00a0I asked her if she will sell it and she agrees. \u00a0After I check with the buyer that this is what she is looking for, \u00a0I set off and start the makeover. \u00a0Here it is before (but apparently after I took off the hardware):<\/p>\n

After some Safecoat primer, I applied many coats of Safecoat semigloss paint in Field green. \u00a0We were experiencing what might be considered \u00a0300% humidity at that point and it made the paint take forever to dry. \u00a0It took a little longer but we got there. \u00a0I then added the hardware to match the hardware on the blue nightstand.<\/p>\n
